In the 80s, Robert Downey Jr. and Kiefer Sutherland were struggling actors trying to make ends meet in the big and scary town that is Hollywood. The two ended up sharing an apartment in Los Angeles. It was during the time that Downey had ended his relationship with actress Sarah Jessia Parker.
It was a tough break up but Sutherland was there to lend an ear and the occasional shoulder to cry on. The two have been friends for 30 years now.
