1969 ½ Dodge Super Bee A12
The Super Bee, a muscle car inspired by Dodge’s Coronet, made its debut in 1968 and was only in production for two years. It had a lower price point and was essentially a rebadged version of Plymouth’s Road Runner, with similar aesthetics.
However, the Super Bee had a longer wheelbase and weighed 65 pounds more. It featured a unique tail stripe with a bumblebee graphic, an upgraded grille, chrome-plated medallions of the Bee, and a few other visual distinctions, which set it apart from the Road Runner. Overall, the Super Bee was a distinctive muscle car that was both powerful and affordable.
