1971 Baldwin-Motion Phase III GT Corvette

The 1969 New York City International Auto Show saw the debut of the 1971 Baldwin-Motion Phase III GT Corvette, which caused quite a stir. The vehicle boasted luxurious air conditioning, in addition to a powerful 454 LS6 big block engine fitted with open chamber aluminum heads and headers, and a Holly four-barrel carburetor that generated more than 500 horsepower.
It quickly became a favorite for drag racing enthusiasts due to its impressive speed.
