1970 Plymouth Road Runner
The Plymouth Road Runner, produced by Plymouth Chrysler from 1968 through 1980 in Detroit, Michigan, was a popular muscle car of its time. The 1970 model, in particular, stood out for its revamped front and rear end, enhanced front fenders, new grille, and addition of quarter panels and a cloth and vinyl bench seat. It also came in new colors and featured a more aggressive look, thanks to high back bucket seats, built-in headrests, and other luxury items.
Under the hood, the car was powered by a 440 six-barrel engine, which was a carryover from the previous year, joined with a three-speed manual transmission.
