Croatian terrorists were responsible for the bombing of JAT Flight 367 on January 26, 1972, which resulted in the death of all passengers and crew members on board, except for Vesna Vulović, who survived.
The bombing was part of a larger political conflict between Croatian separatists and the Yugoslav government, and was meant to be a statement of protest against the treatment of Croats in Yugoslavia.
