He may have played an evil dictator in the film The Last King of Scotland, but Forest Whitaker is actually a teddy bear in real life. Well, a teddy bear with some impressive karate skills. The actor is a master in Kenpo Karate, a form of mixed martial arts, holding the rank of black belt.
But it doesn’t end there. He has also trained under the famous Dan Inosato, a former student of the late Bruce Lee and trainer of his son, the late Brandon Lee. Inosato trained him in the art of Kali, a unique Filipino style of fighting.
