34. Sharon Stone’s Black Valentino Skirt (1996)
Due to a last-minute mishap with her planned outfit, Sharon Stone had to improvise her dress for the red-carpet event. With the help of costume designer Ellen Mirojnick, the star put together a shirt from Gap with a Valentino skirt. She paired this with an Armani tuxedo dress that she used as a jacket.
With the final touch of adding a gardenia from her garden to her tux, the star headed to the event and was met with an astonishing response. Her dress received praise and caught the eyes of fashion designers, and she was appreciated for her bold fashion choice.
