23. Viola Davis’s White Alexander McQueen Gown (2021)
Viola Davis wore one of the most daring gowns to the 2021 Oscars. The white sleeveless dress was custom-made for her by Alexander McQueen. The top of the dress was a corset with several cutouts in a flower pattern that gave a striking see-through effect and was explicitly dyed to match the actress’s skin tone.
The bottom skirt flowed down to the floor and was made from chiffon. The pure white color made the Actress shine brightly and boldly throughout the event. Looking stunning and inspiring, Viola Davis made headlines that fateful night.
